Motorola has launched Global Connect, a service that keeps you connected abroad without unnecessary hassle. The system uses a single embedded eSIM to connect to networks in dozens of countries. Your smartphone automatically switches to local carriers as soon as you cross the border. No settings, no visits to carrier stores — just technology magic.
Pricing That Won't Make You Cry
To attract users, Motorola offers a generous gesture: 1 GB of data for free. This is enough for about an hour of video streaming or more than 10 hours of social media browsing. The free package works in over 160 countries worldwide.

Important note: the service supports only mobile internet. Voice calls and SMS are not available through Global Connect. Motorola reasonably pointed out that modern travelers communicate via messengers, while traditional telephony is becoming obsolete.
The service was developed in partnership with Gigs, a company specializing in mobile solutions and collaborating with hundreds of operators worldwide. Motorola proudly calls Global Connect the first such product built into the ecosystem of a major Android smartphone manufacturer.
Currently, the service is available in Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Peru, and Chile. By the end of 2026, the company plans to expand to European markets, including Germany and the UK. Supported devices include Motorola smartphones with eSIM functionality, including some budget models. So even owners of affordable devices can feel like global citizens.
